ascendens asia Must Watch! Buying a Fishing Kayak! Academy Pelican or Bass Pro Ascend?

Im Heading to Bass Pro and Academy to look at their top kayaks in the store. The main two kayaks Im looking into buying are the Ascend or the Pelican Fishing Kayaks. These two brands are the more expensive brands at Academy and Bass Pro. Compared to other kayaks like Jackson, Hobie, Nucanoe, Vibe, and Bonafide they are cheaper. Ascend and Pelican are still great kayaks made with great quality, but they are in the middle range of pricing. I need to upgrade since my kayak was stolen, and I have decided to move up since I learned what it feels like to be in an unstable and smaller kayak. I plan on doing many customizations that are not currently on a lot of other kayaks. I tend to tweak, modify, customize, and push the envelope so to speak of what a kayak can do and test its boundaries and limitations. I like to think outside of the box so I will be adding a trolling motor that has not been added to any other kayaks here on you tube. My plan is to get this kayak up to speeds between 7 and 10 MPH. That sounds crazy, but it also at the same time sounds fun, challenging, and like a lot of dislikes on videos with that kind of setup with the trolling motor. Im not your normal kayaker, I like to change things up. Let me know if you are like me in my outside of the box thinking, or if you have any ideas for incorporating into my kayak crazy builds.
