Chennai Crocodile Park Tour 2019 | চেন্নাই ভ্রমণ | Chennai Snake Park | Madras Crocodile Bank | Chennai Tourist Places
The Madras Crocodile Bank Trust and Centre for Herpetology (MCBT) is a reptile zoo and herpetology research station, located 40 kilometres (25 mi) south of the city of Chennai, in state of Tamil Nadu, India. There are various types of crocodiles and alligators. The largest crocodile of India 16 feet 6 inch long is here. Irula Snake Catchers' Industrial Cooperative Society which is located inside the crocodile bank has a daily snake venom extraction show. The park is home to one of the only approved snake venom extraction centres in India. Venoms of very poisionous snakes like Cobra, russel vipers, common krait are extracted here.
